Connection and installation

Terminal assignment and module installation.

Use the defined AI, GND, and PE terminals, select the correct signal model, and install the module on a compliant DIN-35 rail as part of the N-Series station.

Installation and internal bus

Rail and sequenceMount on an IEC 60715 DIN-35 rail and assemble modules from the coupler left to right.
Insert the moduleAlign the spring tongues with the groove, keep the rail latch unlocked, press the module into position, and lock the latch.
Data and power contactsEight gold-plated data contacts provide communication and system power through the internal bus.
End cover and removalInstall an end cover on the final module. To remove a module, lift the rail latch with a flat-blade screwdriver and pull it away from the rail.
Use shielded cable, one conductor per spring terminal, 0.3 to 2.5 mm² wire, and an 8 to 9 mm stripping length.
