Description
The BL123 protocol converter is an industrial protocol gateway with Ethernet ports and RS-232/485 serial ports. Beilai BL123 protocol converter is used for converting Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP to EtherCAT communications. 
This Modbus to EtherCAT gateway allowing traditional Modbus devices to be seamlessly integrated into modern EtherCAT automation systems. Through this EtherCAT gateway, the utilization rate of existing devices can be increased, while also enhancing the communication efficiency and performance of the entire system.

Intelligent Protocol Conversion

  • Bidirectional Modbus RTU/TCP → EtherCAT conversion. Enables PLCs, sensors, and meters to connect to EtherCAT master systems.
  • Supports up to 4,096 Boolean values or 512×16/32-bit data points per device.

Industrial-Grade Reliability

  • Wide Voltage Input: DC 9~36V with reverse polarity protection. Low power consumption (100mA@12V typical).
  • Triple Protection: ±6kV contact ESD/±8kV air ESD, ±1kV surge, 1kV EFT immunity.
  • Rugged Design: Operational at -30~55°C (-22~131°F), IP30 rating, DIN rail mounting.

Flexible Interface Configuration

Multi-Port Ethernet:

  • ETH0: PC/Router connection (configuration port)
  • ETH1: Cascading expansion
  • ETH2: Direct EtherCAT device link

Serial Ports: 1×RS232 + 2×RS485, adjustable baud rate (2400-115200bps).

Plug-and-Play Configuration

  • Web-Based Management: Access via 192.168.3.10 (default: admin/no password).
  • One-Touch Reset: Hold Reset button for 5s to restore factory settings.
